Golf Coupons and Course Review:

In our opinion there is no better 36 holes in Northern California than Bayonet & Blackhorse. Classic style with a tree lined holes similar to what you would find at Harding Park, Poppy Hills or the Olympic Club. Has plenty of length ranging from 5000-7000 yards. From the tips it is extremely tough. Often times this course gets overlooked from the more well known courses in Monterey including: Spyglass, Spanish Bay, Pasatiempo and the iconic Pebble Beach,

I had the pleasure of playing both courses. My favorite is Bayonet and if I recall correctly it has one hole for the ladies that is a par 6.
A small mens club in Morgan Hill traveled to Fort Ord by and old English double deck bus . I have photo of buss and had some photos at course but can’t find. The bus was a show stopper on the road. Loved playing Bayonet as was much tougher course than Black Horse.
